National Retriever derby Club (NRdC)
The National Retriever Derby Club, Inc. is an American Kennel Club approved club; created for the singular purpose of hosting a championship retriever field trial event annually selecting a National Derby Champion for dogs under the age of two years old. The winner will be awarded the American Kennel Club’s new NDC title (National Derby Champion) and a perpetual trophy until the next year’s championship event.

information:Qualification Requirements for the National Derby: To qualify for the NRDC Championship, 3 or more Derby points are required, as tracked by Retriever News for the National Derby List. (5 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, 2 points for 3rd place and 1 point for 4th place.) The qualification period is recorded as all Derby points earned while under the age of two, which qualify for the Retriever News National Derby List. Any dog under age two on the start date of the first series of the event with the requisite three points is therefore Qualified and may enter the event. Event entries, verified by Retriever News will be managed by Entry Express.
