Scratch Policy: Entry fees for the scratches will be refunded in full for a bitch in season prior to and during the running of the trial, appropriate veterinarian certificate for sick or injured dog or extenuating circumstances approved by the Field Trial Committee.

Training Birds:
Training birds need to be ordered two weeks in advance of the first draw. Training birds will be available beginning Monday morning, Nov. 5th. Specific location and time will be provided through Entry Express and Retriever News websites and Qualifier announcements at a later date.
Training Grounds:The drawing for the next day’s training sites will be at 6:00 pm each night at the HQ hotel. (Courtyard by Marriott Paducah) The first drawing will be Sunday, Nov. 4th at 6:00 pm and will be for Monday Nov. 5th. A Training Grounds and Test Site Guide will be available online – coming in October.

The Professional Handlers' Trophy - An award of the National Retriever Club to the handler of the winner, if a professional, to remain in the possession of the handler of the winner until the next running of the National Championship Stake if handled by a professional. The handler also receives a replica of this trophy.
