Event Information: 

Health Certification Requirement: All dogs are required be able to provide evidence that all vaccinations are current for all dogs in your possession at the event, including local pre-National training. 

Bitch Check: Immediately following the Annual Meeting.

Qualification:
Qualification for the NRDC Championship will be 3 or more Derby points earned at member club events, as recorded by Entry Express and verified by Retriever News. (5 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, 2 points for 3rd place and 1 point for 4th place.) The qualification period is recorded as all Derby points earned while under age two, which qualify for the Retriever News National Derby List. Any dog under age two on the start date of the first series of the event with the requisite 3 points verified may enter the event. 

Scratch Policy:
After the official close bitches in season, deceased or injured dogs will receive a full refund, provided a veterinary certificate is received within ten days of the notice of scratch to the event secretary. Other requests
may be made to the Field Trial Secretary.

Running Order:
The NRDC will select the starting dog at the general meeting the day prior to the event beginning. The NRDC Championship will utilize a system of rotation as described in the events official catalog which will contain the running order as established by the NRDC Event Secretary.

Announcements:
The event policies currently provide for ten series and five days of competition. No paper premiums will be mailed to the qualifiers for the 2023 NDRC. The Premium and Event Information can be viewed online and printed out from Entry Express. No handler may enter or run more than five dogs.
