The NRC annual meeting began at 3 p.m. following the Retriever Advisory Meeting. Present on the dais were '99 Officers; Bill Daley, Larry Wharton, Tony Snow, Jackie Mertens, Clint Joyner and Chief Marshall Kirk Naisbitt. It opened with the announcement that this Stake was being dedicated to the memory of Joe Boatright on whose land it would be held.
Dede Goodrich was asked to draw the starting number for the Stake. She drew #69, NAFC-FC Candlewoods Bit O Bunny, Hank Mc Neil handler. Rotation will be 69, 6, 27, 48.
Highlights included the election of 2000 NRC Club Officers. They include:

The 2000 Stake will be held in Ardmore, Oklahoma from November 12-18th. Chairman is Jim Cope and Chief Marshal, Mike Kammerer. Judges are: Chuck Kimbrell, Jan Andersen, and Dave Vega.
